Public Projects

The proposed construction consists of: Major rehabilitation of the existing Plant 3 Headworks building including: existing screen rehabilitation, new screenings conveyance and dewatering/compaction, a new vortex grit collector, new grit slurry pump and grit washer. Additionally, two 60” screw pumps will be replaced and one new 60” screw pump will be installed at the Far West Sewer Pump Station. New HVAC will be provided for the Plant 3 Headworks buildings (Screen Room, Washer-Compactor Room, Electrical Room, and Grit Washer Room) and gas safety equipment will be installed in Classified areas. A Manual Bar Rack Channel will be constructed. All existing slide gates will be removed and/or replaced. Miscellaneous site piping, grading, electrical, controls, architecture, mechanical, and plumbing work will be included.

The proposed construction consists of cleaning and televising of approximately 29,934 linear feet of sanitary sewer with diameters ranging from 15-inch to 42-inch, and other miscellaneous items of work.

The proposed construction consists of 532 linear feet of sanitary sewer replacement, sanitary sewer lining of approximately 6,030 linear feet of pipe ranging in size from 12-inch to 21-inch diameter, sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitation, including 3 cover replacements, 5 manhole replacements, 18 internal chimney seals, and other miscellaneous items of work

The proposed construction consists of cleaning and televising of approximately 99,192 linear feet of storm sewer with diameters ranging from 8-inch to 60-inch, and other miscellaneous items of work.

The proposed construction consists of one (1) service lateral point repair, 280 LF of 4” service lateral CIPP, and one (1) sanitary sewer point repair in Twin Lakes Basin 7; one (1) service lateral point repair in Twin Lakes Basin 9; three (3) sanitary sewer point repairs and 846 LF of 8” sanitary sewer CIPP in Twin Lakes Basin 3; three (3) sanitary sewer point repairs, 203 LF of 8” sanitary sewer CIPP, and 313 LF of 18” sanitary sewer CIPP in Twin Lakes Basin 18; and other miscellaneous items of work.

The proposed construction consists of approximately 185 feet of 12-inch and 2,840 feet of 8-inch diameter manhole-to-manhole lining with cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), testing, sanitary sewer point repairs including excavation and replacement spot repairs, and other miscellaneous items of work.

The Project includes the following Work: Installation of approximately 4,545 lineal feet of 12-inch water main installed by either opencut or horizontal directional drilling methods, including fire hydrants, valves in boxes, flushing station, sampling station, and dry well structure; including parkway and pavement restoration; and other miscellaneous items of work.

The project includes the following work: Ecological restoration of approximately 1,000 feet of drainage way within the Lake County Forest Preserve to repair severe erosion damage to storm structures and the surrounding terrain, including streambank stabilization, removal of nonnative trees and shrubs, a three-year maintenance and monitoring plan, and other miscellaneous items of work.

The proposed construction consists of approximately 20 linear feet of 4-inch, 270 linear feet of 6-inch, 10,150 linear feet of 8-inch, 80 linear feet of 10-inch, 15 linear feet of 12-inch, and 720 linear feet of 16-inch water main via open cut, boring in jacked casing and horizontal directional drilling methods, including valve, hydrants, and other miscellaneous items of work.

The proposed construction consists of approximately 100 linear feet of 6-inch, 6,400 linear feet of 8-inch, and 130 linear feet of 12-inch water main via open cut and horizontal directional drilling methods, including valves, hydrants, and other miscellaneous items of work.
